There are several reports that police have been told to leave polling stations in Batticaloa, including Kottakallaru, Kaldawala, Eruvil, and Thurainalavana. Supposedly on Karuna's orders. This is coming from several sources. One version of the story is that they are emptying and restuffing the ballot boxes, though who knows.
